A popular option when ordering our folding doors is to specify our unique integrated blinds, with aluminium blades.

These blinds are actually fitted between the 2 sheets of glass in the double glazed unit and being inside the sealed unit they never need dusting, will not rattle in the wind and cannot be played with or damaged by children. Perfect for use in a folding door used as a room divider or office partition as they can make rooms and offices feel more open plan, and has both the ability to allow light and privacy.

The blinds can be raised and lowered and all sizes will tilt.

Where the blinds are placed

Although the gap between the glass is only 20mm, our blinds with their 13mm slats fit neatly inside with room to spare.

We currently offer 2 control methods for our integrated blinds. The first method of control is via magnetic push blocks, slide one block up and down to move the blinds and the other block to tilt the blinds. Next we offer an electrically operated system.

Magnetic Manual Blinds

These Venetian style blinds are installed inside the double glazed sealed units, fitting neatly between the two sheets of glass. The slat raising, lowering and tilting function is achieved using a magnetic transmission through the glass, thereby guaranteeing the unit's hermetic seal.

The system is very simple and easy to use and functions with surprising grace and speed. Raise, lower and tilt functionality is achieved by simply sliding the push block along the side border rail.

Electronic Blinds

Our integrated Venetian style blinds fit neatly inside the double glazed sealed units keeping them dust and maintenance free. They are battery operated using the actuator provided with no electrician needed. The actuators are charged automatically using a the supplied solar panels and operate the blinds with raising, lowering and tilting function.

As standard, these blinds are remote controlled. They can also be controlled from the panel, using the touch/swipe system.
